Add your client information. We store the client name along with the name and email of the contacts for the client. You may store address, phone, and website if you'd like, but we keep it simple with just the four required fields.

Add custom messages or use our library. This is the heart of NotifyWorks. Messages that you send over and over can be stored as a template and referenced quickly when it is time to create a notification.

Create your notification in just a few clicks. Choose the client, the nature of the notification, the subject and the date/dates you'd like it sent. NotifyWorks will send the message as if it was from you on the day/days you specified. Additional settings allow you to automatically CC and/or BCC your or other email addresses.
Questions You Should Ask
Q: What about client confidential information?
A: We store generic notification templates in our library or those you choose to enter for your use. You need to keep confidentiality issues in mind when creating new templates in your library and when you send notifications to clients. We do NOT recommend placing sensitive confidential information or substantive legal advice in notifications to clients.
Q: Why do the emails come from the NotifyWorks' system?
A: The emails come from our system to assure that the delivery of these notifications happens. We do several things in the background using multiple server systems to make sure we have done everything we can to get your notifications delivered. These are not done on business email systems.
Q: What if I change firms?
A: That is one of the key advantages of NotifyWorks. It is independent of any business or firm system. You simply change your reply email address and keep using the system. If clients choose to continue working with you, they will see no interruption.
Q: How long does it take to set up notifications for a typical business contract?
A: A typical contract with 10 notifications takes less than 5 minutes.
Q: Is the system secure?
A: Yes. We do everything we can to secure all of your data. Additionally, we do not store anything of interest to hackers. The data we store is limited to a general library of common notifications and the data you enter.
Q: How will the client know the emails are from me?
A: When you first set up your clients, they will receive a message from NotifyWorks on your behalf asking them to confirm their address in the NotifyWorks system. You will be notified when they have (or have not) confirmed their email address. Once this is done, they will see emails sent on your behalf with your email address in the From line and the NotifyWorks logo in the subject line.
Q: What happens if the client replies to the email?
A: The reply goes directly to you. The NotifyWorks system does not see nor receive reply emails.
Q: Will NotifyWorks' emails get caught up in the spam filter?
A: Emails will not get caught if the client confirms their email address when they are first set up. Having said that, you never know when they make a change to their system. This is why we encourage you to follow up all critical notifications with a call.
Q: How do I know my NotifyWorks' emails are getting to the client?
A: There is no guarantee of email delivery. Further, there is no guarantee that your client will read the email even if it is delivered to their inbox. We do everything we know how to do to make sure your email is delivered. From the initial confirmation process for clients to our constant monitoring, our system is world class when it comes to email delivery assurance.
Q: How is this different from Outlook?
A: Outlook may tell you to notify a client of an important event via a task or other reminder if you set it up correctly and have the time to work through those reminders. NotifyWorks proactively delivers your notifications to your clients, even if you are tied up with some other matter.
Q: How is this different than my firm's system?
A: The key difference between NotifyWorks and most business and firm specific systems is that NotifyWorks is proactive and fit for purpose. Once a set of notifications are in the system for a client, they are going to be sent unless you cancel them. No further action is required.
Q: Can I take my data with me if I cancel?
A: Yes. We have export tools that allow you to take your data any time you wish.
Q: Who owns the data I enter into the system?
A: You own your information. We retain enough rights to do what we promise with the system. We further retain enough rights to learn how our systems are used and to improve them.
